Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and yeast.

  2. Add warm water, honey, egg, and butter. Mix until well combined.

  3. Stir in apricots, walnuts, and salt.

  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.

  5. Place dough in a greased bowl and let it rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

  6. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a loaf pan.

  7. Transfer dough to the prepared loaf pan and bake for 35-40 minutes or until it turns golden brown.

  8. Let it cool before slicing.
