How To Make Polish Sausage and Lentil Soup
A delicious and hearty soup with a rich broth, tender lentils, and savory Polish sausage.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 stalks celery, diced
- 3 carrots, peeled and diced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup lentils, rinsed and drained
- 1 lb Polish sausage, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, celery, and carrots. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the potatoes, thyme, oregano, and paprika. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the lentils and sliced Polish sausage. Cook for 30-40 minutes, or until the lentils are tender and the sausage is cooked through.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
