How To Make Stir-fried Pork with Ginger & Honey

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic.

  2. Marinate the pork slices in the mixture for at least 10 minutes.

  3. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  4. Add the marinated pork slices and stir-fry until browned, about 4-5 minutes.

  5. Add green onions and red bell pepper to the skillet and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.

  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.

  7. Pour the slurry into the skillet and cook until the sauce thickens.

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  9. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
