How To Make Homity Pie Recipe

Ingredients
- 500g potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 200g cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 200ml double cream
- 2 eggs
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash them.

Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions and garlic until soft and golden.

In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, sautéed onions and garlic, grated cheese, double cream, and eggs. Season with salt and pepper.

Transfer the mixture into a pie dish and smooth the top with a fork.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the pie is set.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
