How To Make Pulled Pork Rub

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 lbs pork shoulder
Instructions

In a small bowl, combine all the spices and mix well.

Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder, making sure to cover all sides.

Let the pork shoulder sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).

Place the pork shoulder on a baking sheet or roasting pan and roast for about 4 hours, or until the meat easily shreds with a fork.

Once the pork is cooked, let it rest for about 10 minutes before pulling it apart with two forks.
