How To Make Pork Rillettes
Pork is one of the most commonly cooked meats in the world and we’ve decided to put our spin into these minimal yet tasty pork recipes that will have you looking forward to every bite.

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs pork shoulder, cut into chunks
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 tbsp rendered pork fat (reserved from cooking)
- Baguette or crackers, for serving
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

In a large oven-safe pot or Dutch oven, combine the pork shoulder, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, black pepper, salt, white wine, and chicken broth.

Cover the pot with a lid and place it in the preheated oven.

Cook the pork for 4 hours, or until it is very tender and easily shreds when pulled with a fork.

Remove the pot from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Using two forks, shred the pork shoulder into small pieces.

Transfer the shredded pork to a mixing bowl and add 4 tablespoons of the rendered pork fat. Mix well to combine.

Taste the rillettes and adjust the seasoning if needed.

Transfer the rillettes to a jar or serving dish and press it down to remove any air pockets.

Refrigerate the rillettes for at least 2 hours, or until it is firm and spreadable.

Serve the pork rillettes with slices of baguette or crackers.
