Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
Total: 25 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fresh salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Toasted baguette slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 10 minutes or until cooked through.

  2. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it cool slightly. Flake the salmon using a fork, removing any bones or skin.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, softened butter, lemon juice, chopped dill, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.

  4. Transfer the salmon rillettes to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.

  5. Serve the salmon rillettes with toasted baguette slices for spreading.
