Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Rub the spice mixture onto both sides of each pork chop.

  4. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are browned.

  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  7. Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving.
