- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground sage
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 sheets ready-to-roll puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, onion, garlic, sage, thyme, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs. Mix well until evenly combined.

Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and use a round cutter to cut out circles. Press each circle into a greased mini pie tin.
-
Fill each pie crust with a spoonful of the pork mixture, pressing it down gently.
-
Roll out the second sheet of puff pastry and cut out circles slightly larger than the pie tins. Place the pastry circles on top of the filled pies.
-
Use a fork to press down the edges of the pastry to seal the pies.
-
Brush the tops of the pies with beaten egg wash.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is cooked through.
-
Allow the pies to cool slightly before removing them from the tin. Serve warm.
