Ingredients

  • 1 large head of broccoli
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Chop the broccoli into florets and place them on a baking sheet.

  3. Drizzle the broccoli with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Roast the broccoli in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until tender and lightly browned.

  5. Meanwhile, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  6. Add the minced garlic and chilli flakes to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

  7. Add the breadcrumbs to the skillet and toast them for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden brown.

  8. Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the roasted broccoli.

  9. Serve the Broccoli with Garlic & Chilli Breadcrumbs immediately as a tasty and spicy side dish.
