Ingredients
- 4 smoked sausages
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup ale
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Preheat the grill or smoker to medium heat.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the sausages to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.

Remove the sausages from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the diced potatoes and sauté until golden brown, about 10 minutes.

Return the sausages to the skillet with the potatoes. Add the sauerkraut and ale and season with salt and pepper.

Cover the skillet and let simmer for 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
