How To Make Slow-Cooker Sweet-and-Sour Country Style Ribs

These country style ribs have just the perfect balance of sweet and sour. You also don’t have to put in a lot of effort as the slow cooker does most of it.

Ingredients

  • ½cupketchup
  • ½cuplight-brown sugar,packed
  • ½cupcider vinegar
  • 1tbspmustard powder
  • ½tspcayenne pepper
  • coarse salt and ground pepper
  • 4lbscountry-style pork ribs
  • barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. In slow cooker, whisk together ketchup, sugar, vinegar, mustard powder, cayenne, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper.

  2. Add ribs to slow cooker, and toss with sauce. Arrange ribs, bone side up, in a single row. Cover; cook on High, 6 hours (or on Low, 10 hours).

  3. Serve ribs drizzled with pan juices and, if desired, barbecue sauce.
