How To Make Thai Satay Prawns

Ingredients

  • 1 lb prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, fish sauce, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, and coconut milk.

  2. Thread prawns onto skewers and brush with the satay sauce. Reserve some sauce for serving.

  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.

  4. Grill prawns for 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through and slightly charred.

  5. Remove prawns from skewers and serve with reserved satay sauce.

  6. Garnish with chopped peanuts and sliced green onions.
