How To Make Tangy Tuna Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of tuna (5 oz each), drained
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, red onion, parsley, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

  2. Heat a grill or a skillet over medium heat. Divide the tuna mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.

  3. Cook the tuna patties on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and heated through.

  4. Toast the hamburger buns.

  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a tuna patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. Serve the tangy tuna burgers and enjoy!
