Ingredients

  • 2 cans of tuna, drained
  • 1 can of chickpeas, drained and mashed
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the tuna, mashed chickpeas, breadcrumbs, red onion, parsley, garlic, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. Form the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

  5. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or on a bun as a sandwich.
