How To Make Spiced Potted Crab

Ingredients
- 500g fresh crab meat
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions

In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.

Add the cumin, coriander, chili powder, and paprika to the pan. Stir and cook for another minute.

Add the crab meat to the pan and mix well with the spices.

Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Transfer the crab mixture into individual ramekins or jars.

Pour melted butter over the crab mixture to seal and preserve the flavors.

Let it cool completely before refrigerating for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Serve chilled with crusty bread or crackers.
