How To Make Sharing Potted Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toasted bread or crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.

  4. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  5. Allow the shrimp mixture to cool slightly before transferring it to small serving pots or ramekins.

  6. Once cooled, cover the pots with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set and develop the flavors.

  7. Serve the potted shrimp with toasted bread or crackers for dipping.
