How To Make Easy Chicken Chow Mein

Ingredients
- 8 oz chow mein noodles
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the sliced chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.

Add the sliced carrots and bell peppers to the skillet, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.

Stir in the bean sprouts, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the skillet and toss until well combined with the chicken and vegetables.

Pour the cornstarch mixture over the noodles and stir until the sauce thickens.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
