How To Make Quick Salt & Pepper Squid

Ingredients
- 500g squid, cleaned and sliced into rings
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions

In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and black pepper together.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

Dip squid rings into the flour mixture, making sure they are fully coated.

Shake off any excess flour and carefully drop the coated squid rings into the hot oil.

Fry for 2-3 minutes or until the squid turns golden brown and crispy. Do not overcrowd the pan, fry in batches if needed.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the cooked squid and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Serve the salt and pepper squid hot with lemon wedges on the side.
