How To Make Prawn Jambalaya

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of long grain rice
  • 1 lb of prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) of diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp of Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat.

  3. Add the onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Cook until softened.

  4. Add the prawns to the skillet and cook until pink and cooked through.

  5. Stir in the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  6. Simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

  7. Serve the prawn jambalaya over the cooked rice.

  8. Garnish with fresh parsley.
