Ingredients

  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, gently pick through the crab meat to remove any shells.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley.

  3. Pour the mayo mixture over the crab meat and gently fold together until well combined.

  4. Shape the mixture into 8 evenly sized patties.

  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  6. Cook the crab cakes for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.

  7. Serve the Maryland Crab Cakes hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
