Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillets, skin removed and chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine salmon, green onions, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, panko bread crumbs, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick and 3 inches in diameter.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. Serve the ginger soy salmon patties hot with your favorite dipping sauce or on a bun as a burger.
