How To Make Cedar Plank Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (approximately 6 oz each)
  • Cedar plank, soaked for 1-2 hours
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the soaked cedar plank directly on the grill grates and allow it to preheat for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Brush the top side of the cedar plank with the olive oil mixture.

  5. Place the salmon fillets, skin side down, onto the cedar plank.

  6. Close the grill and cook the salmon for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  7. Once cooked, carefully remove the cedar plank from the grill.

  8. Garnish the salmon with fresh dill and serve hot.
