How To Make Cedar Planked Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 cedar plank (soaked in water for 1 hour)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • Fresh dill (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill and close the lid. Let it heat for 5 minutes.

  3. In the meantime, brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  4. Carefully place the seasoned salmon fillets on the hot cedar plank.

  5. Close the lid and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  6. Remove the cedar plank from the grill and let it cool for a few minutes.

  7. Carefully transfer the cooked salmon to a serving platter, garnish with fresh dill and lemon slices.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
