How To Make Best Pickled Shrimp

Ingredients
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup of white vinegar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of black peppercorns
- 1 tablespoon of mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon of dill seeds
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
Instructions

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they turn pink and opaque. Drain and set aside.

In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, peppercorns, mustard seeds, dill seeds, bay leaves, garlic, and onion. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 5 minutes.

Place the cooked shrimp, lemon slices, and the hot vinegar mixture in a glass jar. Make sure the shrimp are fully submerged in the liquid.

Let the jar cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. The pickled shrimp can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
