Ingredients

  • 1 pound of sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Rinse the sea scallops and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the mixture over each scallop.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this mixture over the scallops, pressing lightly to adhere.

  5. Bake the scallops in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until they are cooked through and the topping is golden brown.

  6. Serve the baked sea scallops hot, with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over them.
