Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 1 green chilli, thinly sliced
  • 1 ripe mango, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1/4 cup of butter, softened
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a sandwich press or a panini press.

  2. Butter one side of each bread slice and place them buttered side down.

  3. Layer the slices of cheese on half of the bread slices.

  4. Top the cheese with the green chilli and mango slices.

  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  6. Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side up.

  7. Place the sandwiches in the sandwich press or panini press and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  8. Remove from the press and let cool for a minute.

  9. Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and serve hot.
