How To Make Spiced Honey-Glazed Halloumi & Fig Salad

Ingredients
- 8 oz halloumi cheese, sliced
- 8 fresh figs, halved
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat grill or grill pan over medium heat.

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, cumin, paprika, and cinnamon.

Brush the halloumi cheese slices and fig halves with the honey mixture.

Grill the halloumi cheese slices for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and lightly charred. Remove from heat.

Grill the fig halves, cut side down, for 2-3 minutes until caramelized. Remove from heat.

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, toasted almonds, pomegranate seeds, and fresh mint leaves. Toss to combine.

Arrange the grilled halloumi cheese slices and fig halves over the salad.

Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
