How To Make Citrus Waldorf Salad

Apart from the usual mix of mayo, celery, and apple, this Waldorf salad has juices from orange and lime, with a juicy mix of golden raisins.

Ingredients

  • 3granny smith apples,cored
  • 3red delicious apples,cored
  • 2cupsmayonnaise
  • ¼cupwhite sugar
  • 3tbsplemon juice
  • 3tbsporange juice
  • 2cupswhipped cream
  • 6celery stalks,finely diced
  • 1cupgolden raisins

Instructions

  1. Dice the apples with the skin still on. Place in a bowl of water with a little lemon juice to keep them from turning brown.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice and orange juice. Fold in the whipped cream.

  3. Drain the apples and add to the mayonnaise mixture, along with the celery and raisins. Stir until evenly coated.

  4. Serve and enjoy!
