How To Make Tuscan Risotto

You only need 5 ingredients to cook whip up this risotto recipe, made with Arborio rice simmered in a savory chicken broth, for a delectable meal!

  • 2tbspolive oil
  • 1large onion,minced
  • 1cupArborio rice,uncooked
  • 32ozSwanson® Tuscan Chicken Flavor Infused Broth,(1 carton), heated
  • ½cupparmesan cheese,grated


  1. Heat the oil in a 4-quart saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add the onion and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Stir the rice in the saucepan. Add ½ cup of the broth and cook, then stir until it’s absorbed.

  4. Add the remaining broth, ½ cup at a time, stirring until the broth is absorbed before adding more.

  5. Stir in the cheese before serving. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Flavor variation: Stir in cup of chopped sun-dried tomatoes and 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil leaves before serving.
