Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound mixed seafood (such as shrimp, scallops, and calamari), cleaned and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.

  3. Add the mixed seafood to the skillet and cook until it is opaque and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

  5. To serve, divide the spaghetti among 4 plates. Top with the smoky tomato and seafood sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.
