How To Make Next Level Mac ‘n’ Cheese with Marmite

Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp Marmite
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden.

Gradually whisk in the milk, then add the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses. Cook, stirring constantly, until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

Stir in the Marmite until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cooked macaroni to the sauce and stir until evenly coated.

Preheat the broiler. Transfer the mac ‘n’ cheese to an oven-safe dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Broil for 3-5 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden and crispy.
