How To Make Creamy Pasta with Asparagus Peas

Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the asparagus and sauté for 5 minutes until tender.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Stir in the frozen peas and cook until heated through.

Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the noodles evenly with the creamy sauce.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Serve hot and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
