  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 6 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook until the garlic turns golden brown, about 2 minutes.

  3. Remove the skillet from the heat and add the cooked spaghetti. Toss until the spaghetti is coated evenly with the garlic-infused oil.

  4. Sprinkle with salt and toss again.

  5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
