  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook until garlic is lightly golden, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. Add cooked spaghetti to pan and toss with garlic oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
