Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup grape jelly
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Shape mixture into small meatballs.

  3. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.

  4. In a separate saucepan, combine grape jelly and chili sauce. Heat over medium heat until jelly is melted and sauce is smooth.

  5. Remove meatballs from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish. Pour the grape jelly mixture over the meatballs and stir gently to coat.

  6. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  7. Serve the grape jelly meatballs hot as an appetizer or over cooked rice as a main dish.
