How To Make Grape & Rosemary Jelly

Jelly desserts don’t always have to mean ordinary gelatin dishes in cups. With our tasty jelly recipes, a jelly dessert will make you become the talk of the town before you know it.

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 45 minutes
Total: 1 hour

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups grapes, seedless
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 packet gelatin

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the grapes, water, and rosemary sprig. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes until the grapes are soft.

  2. Strain the grape mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean saucepan, discarding the solids.

  3. Add the sugar and lemon juice to the grape liquid and bring to a simmer, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.

  4. In a separate bowl, bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over 1/4 cup cold water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

  5. Add the bloomed gelatin to the grape mixture and stir until completely dissolved.

  6. Pour the jelly mixture into individual serving dishes or ramekins. Let them cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 4-6 hours or until set.

  7. Serve the grape & rosemary jelly chilled, garnished with fresh rosemary sprigs if desired.
