How To Make Grape & Rosemary Jelly
Jelly desserts don’t always have to mean ordinary gelatin dishes in cups. With our tasty jelly recipes, a jelly dessert will make you become the talk of the town before you know it.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups grapes, seedless
- 1 cup water
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 packet gelatin
Instructions
-
In a saucepan, combine the grapes, water, and rosemary sprig. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes until the grapes are soft.
-
Strain the grape mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean saucepan, discarding the solids.
-
Add the sugar and lemon juice to the grape liquid and bring to a simmer, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
-
In a separate bowl, bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over 1/4 cup cold water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
-
Add the bloomed gelatin to the grape mixture and stir until completely dissolved.
-
Pour the jelly mixture into individual serving dishes or ramekins. Let them cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 4-6 hours or until set.
-
Serve the grape & rosemary jelly chilled, garnished with fresh rosemary sprigs if desired.
