  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced onions
  • Condiments of your choice (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, etc.)
  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Shape the mixture into four equal-sized patties.

  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

  5. While the burgers are cooking, cut the sweet potatoes into wedges.

  6. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, and salt until well coated.

  7. Arrange the sweet potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.

  8. Toast the hamburger buns.
