How To Make Turkey Burger with Sweet Potato Wedges

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape the mixture into 4 burger patties.

In a separate bowl, toss the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Place the turkey burgers on a preheated grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

While the burgers are cooking, spread the buns with your favorite condiments.

Transfer the sweet potato wedges to a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
