How To Make Pork burgers with herby chips
Delicious pork burgers served with homemade herby chips.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- for the herby chips:
- 4 large potatoes, cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Shape the mixture into 4 patties and place them on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the burgers are cooking, prepare the herby chips. Place the potato wedges on a separate baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with dried rosemary, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.

Bake the potato wedges for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Serve the cooked burgers on the buns, topped with a slice of cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Serve the herby chips on the side.
