Delicious pork burgers served with homemade herby chips.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices
  • for the herby chips:
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Shape the mixture into 4 patties and place them on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the herby chips. Place the potato wedges on a separate baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with dried rosemary, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.

  5. Bake the potato wedges for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Serve the cooked burgers on the buns, topped with a slice of cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Serve the herby chips on the side.
