How To Make Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

Ingredients
- 4 chicken legs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Dredge the chicken legs in the flour mixture, coating them evenly.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken legs and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 12-15 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the remaining flour mixture to make a roux.

Slowly whisk in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, until the gravy thickens.

Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes, until the gravy is smooth and creamy.

Place the fried chicken legs back into the skillet with the gravy, coating them evenly.
