How To Make Bertha’s Blueberry Dumplings

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.

Gently fold in the blueberries.

Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a greased baking dish.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the dumplings are golden brown and cooked through.

While the dumplings are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
