How To Make Puttanesca Meatball Bake

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup pitted and sliced black olives
- 2 tbsp capers
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Cooked spaghetti or crusty bread, for serving
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter.

In a separate baking dish, combine the diced tomatoes, black olives, capers, tomato paste, and olive oil. Mix well.

Place the meatballs into the baking dish, making sure they are evenly spaced.

Pour the puttanesca sauce over the meatballs, making sure they are well coated.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce is bubbling.
