How To Make Perfect Grilled Tofu Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

Press tofu to remove excess water by placing it between two paper towels and putting a heavy object on top. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.

Slice the pressed tofu into 1/4 inch thick slices.

Place the tofu slices in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

Grill the tofu slices for about 5 minutes per side, or until they are crispy and have grill marks.

Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh cilantro.
