How To Make Cardamom and Saffron Rice Recipe

Fragrant rice dish infused with aromatic cardamom and saffron spice.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 6 cardamom pods, crushed
  • 1/4 tsp saffron threads
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse rice in cold water and drain.

  2. Add rice to a pot with water, butter, cardamom, saffron, and salt.

  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered for 18-20 minutes.

  4. Fluff rice with a fork and serve.
