Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp caraway seeds
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and caraway seeds.

  3. Add cubed butter to flour mixture and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to combine until mixture is crumbly.

  4. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. Add milk and stir until dough comes together.

  6. On a floured surface, knead dough for 1-2 minutes until smooth.

  7. Roll dough out to 1 inch thickness and cut into desired shapes.

  8. Place biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
