How To Make Yvonne’s Mashed Potatoes

Creamy and rich mashed potatoes made with butter and cream. Perfect as a side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in a pot of salted water for 15-20 minutes until tender.

  2. Drain potatoes and add them back to the pot.

  3. Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper to the pot and mash with a potato masher until smooth.

  4. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
