Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water, according to package instructions.

  2. In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat.

  3. Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine.

  5. Add grated parmesan cheese to the pan and stir to melt.

  6. Simmer the sauce for 5-7 minutes, until it thickens.

  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the sauce.

  9. Toss the pasta in the sauce until coated.

  10. Serve immediately, topped with fresh parsley if desired.
