How To Make Samosa Pie
Who says vegetarians don’t get to enjoy savory meals? A taste of these authentic vegetarian recipes will make you change your mind. So, you just might want to go vegetarian after your first bite.

Ingredients
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 cup boiled potatoes, mashed
- 1 cup peas
- Salt to taste
- Handful of chopped fresh coriander leaves
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and sauté until golden brown.

Add the cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala to the pan. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Stir in the mashed potatoes and peas, and season with salt to taste. Cook for another 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

Line a pie dish with one sheet of puff pastry. Spoon the potato filling into the dish and spread it evenly.

Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top of the filling and press the edges to seal the pie.

Brush the top of the pie with beaten egg yolk for a golden crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crisp.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Serve the Samosa Pie hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
