How To Make Indian Spiced Ground Lamb Samosa Recipe
Crispy pastry pockets filled with spiced lamb mince.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 12 samosa pastry sheets
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion until soft.

Add ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, garam masala, chili powder, turmeric, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add the ground lamb and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat.

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Cut each samosa pastry sheet in half diagonally to make triangles.

Place a spoonful of the lamb filling in the center of each triangle and fold the pastry over to form a triangle shape.

Seal the edges with a little water and crimp with a fork.

Place the samosas on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.

Serve hot with chutney or dipping sauce.
